JOB TITLE: Electrical Commissioning Engineer LOCATION: US / Worldwide

SALARY: BOE TYPE: Full Time REPORTS: To BU Manager

SUMMARY & OBJECTIVE:

The Electrical Protection Commissioning Engineer serves as an INP representative for the customer at various job sites, and uses his or her knowledge in the field of electrical engineering to complete all responsibilities precisely.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• System Commissioning for projects involving electrical equipment, instrumentation and control equipment, drives, automation technology, AC/DC Converters, Rectifiers, Inverters.
• Good knowledge about AC motors, DC motors, generators, and electrical engines in general. Ability to work with 3-phase motors, 480VAC and above.
• Responsible to fulfill and compile all quality documentation required to execute all related activities, keeping track of the schedule.
• All other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company's discretion

• Experience in industries such as power generation, steel, pulp and paper, mining, food processing, automotive, systems design, or manufacturing.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Knowledge Requirement: working knowledge of AC/DC drives, Excitation systems, Static Frequency Converters, Synchronous and Asynchronous motors.
• Knowledge required interfacing with PLC/DCS and or HMI/MMI systems.
• Knowledge of technical theory and/or applications in design, configuration, integration and implementation of process control solutions for the manufacturing industry, and drives systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, solid understanding of a software development and computer programming, highly organized and creative, possess engineering leadership, strong research skills, excellent written and communication skills and proficiency in hardware and software development and troubleshooting.
• Ability to serve as INP representative to the customer at the various job sites.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• At least a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering
• Experience in industries such as power generation, steel, pulp and paper, mining, food processing, automotive, systems design, or manufacturing is also a plus.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
You may train/lead technicians and junior engineers.

TRAVEL:

Up to 80% travel and sometimes on short notice. Must adapt quickly to new assignments.

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

This is a full time position. Regular attendance is a requirement for this position.
